Nobu prices for third rate food. The miso blackncod was unlikely to be black cod. Full of bones and slathered with sticky sweet sauce. Not properly grilled. Sishito peppers were red hot, no sweetness to them. Several items ordered never appeared. Waiter was indifferent to our dining experience

This was a great find. It has not been open very long - but it was very good. The ambiance was just right. The size of the restaurant was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great. I spent a great amount of time in Japan for business and this brought me back to my days visiting the country. When I am back in NYC - I will be sure to return to Sozai.

Ordered drinks and several small bites from the happy hour menu & everything was tasty! Then shared a Mentaiko pasta as an entree, & that was delicious! The staff were all nice & explained the menu & drinks throughly. We will be back !!

Phah was a great service and the food was great! We had the chashu buns, tonkatsu ramen and hakkaido don. Everything was delicious and the sashimi was so fresh! We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to nyc

We had a great time here! The seats were basically small booths so it feels very private The food was pretty great, I’d love to try other dishes next time

Chose on a whim due to location and availability, had a great experience. All the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful in helping us make the right food and drink choices. Would absolutely go back. Try the miso clams, the broth is outrageous.
