A jungle-set urban oasis in the heart of the Fish Lane dining precinct. A Mod-Chinese restaurant brought to you from the folks behind Rick Shores.

Head Chef Benny Lam has curated a specialist menu that will tantalise the taste buds. The venue is set to feature house made dim sum, and the classic Chinese wok style dishes which the team is known for, alongside the inclusion of the venue's own noodle rolling room which is set to catch the glaze of all pedestrians through Melbourne street.

As we were a group of 9 we had to have a set banquet. That said, the staff were very happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. The food was great, lots of flavour and the right portions, no one went hungry. The service was outstanding. This was the perfect restaurant for a catch up lunch with friends. Highly recommend.

The kingfish sashimi was outstanding but the scallop and prawn gyozas and the share pork belly dishes were not the knockout I was expecting; a bit disappointing really. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly.

We had the $108 set menu and also ordered a few extras. You would think that there would be plenty of food for that amount of money, but it really was not much at all. While the food itself was very tasty, it was disappointing to get such little value for money. Also, there was rice and pita that came with the mains, with no sauce or gravy suitable for dipping and mixing. This was quite unusual.

We always love coming to Southside, it is always great service and the food is on point. My enjoyment level does change for the better if we sit upstairs as I love the decor and ambiance - its just a bit more special!

Simply divine food. Especially the Dim Sum menu, I could have rated purely off this for days. The Share/Mains price a little $$$ for the size of the dish. Can only comment on the Coral Trout, small portion for $55 + accompaniments required. Setting and ambience was beautiful. Will recommend and will revisit!
