Aptly named for its locale, Southern Social nestles up to the old Southern Railway’s historic Germantown Depot and sits adjacent to Southern Avenue.

Owners of downtown Memphis’ Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar have opened Southern Social. The top tier fine dining restaurant will reflect the high standards established at Flight.

We celebrated our anniversary here & it was fantastic! Every where you turn there's an associate to lead the way, retrieve a dropped purse, and ensure that your experience is nothing less than top notch. The sea bass was delicious & cooked perfectly...firm, buttery, & lightly seasoned. We had green beans & sweet potato casserole on the side & both were very good. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere manages to be both intimate & lively. We'll certainly return soon!

I can't stop going back each year for special occasions! I wish I could afford to eat here more, but we save up and go for a birthday or graduation and are quite literally NEVER disappointed. The level of commitment to service and customer care is like no other place in the city of Memphis! If you've never been, do yourself a favor and make a reservation and go prepare for a night of incredible food enhanced even more by the impeccable service!!!!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service is hands down better than anywhere you could go. The food is good. They had a crepe special appetizer this time that was out of this world!

Kat provided excellent service on last night. She was attentive and made marvelous recommendations. The ambience was perfect and the noise level was controlled- allowing us to dialogue without issue. The Eggplant Parmigiana Ravioli was superb! We will be returning soon & will recommend Kat.

We were Celebrating a big birthday and it was everything fine dining we were looking for. Alec was our server but they all worked as a team to keep us taken care of. Food was so tasty and we enjoyed the whole experience. Bourbon list was amazing in choices. We will be back.
