First, the hostess went out of her way to accommodate us with a fabulous table! We loved the atmosphere-soft lighting with a wonderful view of the bay. Our waiter helped us make great choices-my husband said his steak was the best he’s ever had and the French onion soup was perfect! He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. We really enjoyed our evening at Southern Roots!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here. We really enjoyed our drinks and food. We were well taken care of. The fish and risotto were cooked perfectly!

We both had the basil encrusted grouper with sweet pea risotto it was excellent. Lavar our waiter was great as always, very personable with a great smile.

We are only here for one night and find this place Fabulous food. Jordan was our server he was outstanding Amazing wine and drink list

We had a wonderful time, Lavar was our server and did a GREAT job taking care of us. We will definitely be back! The resturant has great views of the bay!. Food came out hot and tastes great.
