   We were seated at a table for 4(3 of us) in front of the kitchen door when the whole restaurant was open. We were in a section of South Fork Grille where I'd never been. There was a very strong smell which I couldn't identify. I was about to request a table in a different area when my clients arrived. They didn't seem to notice anything so we stayed where we were. Food was very good - as always but do prefer the original sections of this restaurant.

   Were there expansion dramatic expansion the food is fantastic and so is the service level

   Wonderful waitress. Cool interior and exceeding well designed for a large restaurant making the restaurant feel much more intimate. My meal had no taste whatsoever. Blackened snapper had zero blackening except for the hard charred exterior a knife couldn’t cut through so I ate the tasteless fish with the tasteless risotto. The julienned vegetables were perfection. We enjoyed our bottle of wine. My husbands gnocchi was good but not great. The couple we were with enjoyed their dinners and took home half. They eat three quite a lot. Our home very close to Doc Fords, Dixie, Snug Harbour and a few other restaurants with excellent food. We drive to wonderful upscale restaurants, so the drive from FMB wasn’t the issue. My dinner was one star but the other three would have not been so harsh.

   Entrees served cold had to send back Had to request bottle of wine twice Water never refilled Service was disappointing since restaurant was not busy there were plenty of waitresses walking around.

   Food was excellent but service was very slow. I understand they have difficulty getting staff. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Our server was lovely but very busy. Highly recommend.

   Ordered the steak frites medium and the dish was extremely bloody, not what I expected as I have ordered this in the past cooked correctly. Asked to have it cooked a little more and the blood to be removed. When the meal was brought back, there were fries still soaked with some blood so the manager came by and took the plate again. returned the dish a 2nd time and by then it was cold. The server then offered a dessert and to box the remaining food. Just not a good experience.

   I had the Salmon which was delicious like always, cooked to perfection. My husband had the Short Ribs again. He Loved them. I love dinning alfresco! I also love the music playing in the back ground on the speakers outside. Jazz etc.

   sat outside as inside seems somewhat sterile. on a Saturday they have a brunch/lunch menu which was fine. I ordered the chicken BLT but did not pay attention to "crispy" in the description. I normally do not eat fried food but since it was my mistake I ate it. Fried food always tastes good and this was no different. Other dishes at the table were the pineapple boat, the capellini an the quiche which all were satisfied with. Nice place. I will go back but put my glasses on next time to get all the important words in the description.

    Food is very good. Our waitress was very good. I think it’s priced fairly.
