In early 2019, the Siguenza Family welcomed the newest additions to the JS Restaurant Group with the openings of South Bay New Haven and South Bay Greenwich. These are the eighth and ninth restaurants for the Siguenzas as they continue to share their creativity, energy, and passion to provide an exquisitely warm and welcoming dining experience in the communities they serve.

Food was delicious and portions generous. We did the brunch special which was an appetizer and entre for $25pp which was a great value for the portions received. Will dine there again when visiting New Haven.

Mediterranean Scampi had a wonderful flavor. The vibe is very cool in the heart of downtown New Haven. Very solid bottle wine list.

The food was fine but under-seasoned and skimpy, especially given the relatively high prices. The lobster slider dinner special came with very little actual lobster (2-3 snap pea-sized pieces in each of the three sliders), which means the meal was mostly bread. The vegetables that came with our entrees were overcooked and so was the fish. Overall, the food was certainly not worth the cost.

Came for a late lunch. The pre fixe menu is a great deal with super high quality food. I got the branzino as my main course and it was great - perfectly salted and a big piece of fish!

Was looking for nice restaurant in New Haven where we could get reservation. Liked ambiance with table looking outside and service was good. Food was good, but not great for the price.

I highly recommend South Bay, a sister restaurant to the popular Harvest restaurant also in New Haven. Excellent food, excellent service and a great atmosphere! We ordered the Sicilian calamari, soft shell crab appetizer, and the duck breast and scallops from the tapas menu. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to bring our friends here when they visit!
