The Siguenza Family welcomed the newest additions to the JS Restaurant Group with the openings of South Bay New Haven and South Bay Greenwich. These are the eighth and ninth restaurants for the Siguenzas as they continue to share their creativity, energy, and passion to provide an exquisitely warm and welcoming dining experience in the communities served

Charging $18 for a Caesar salad that’s barely enough for two people is brazen. The up-charge for chicken was even worse - bc in total, that salad cost me $24 or $26…the menu is very overwhelming bc you’re not sure which way it’s going. Very inconsistent for a restaurant that states it’s Mediterranean…guac for $20+??? You have nice and attentive waitstaff and runners.

The Tuna tartare was probably the best one I’ve had a long time, as was the brusselsprout salad-amazing! Menu was very vast with so many choices that I’m gonna hurry back to try it all!

Food is mediocre at best. Was impressed initially when we walked in. Nice bar area and restaurant is pretty. At 10, the whole place turned into a club. We appreciated that they didn’t rush us out and let us continue to sit in the back area.

Great food Wonderful and attentive service Was there for a birthday celebration, and it was very pleasant experience. Service was great. Food and wine were excellent. Good ambience fully recommend this place , quite a gem

Appetizers, drinks, entrees were delicious! I was so happy with everything during my dinner at South Bay. Loved the vibe towards the later hours w a DJ and just good music and dancing. Will definitely be back!

Food is so good. Love how the wait staff takes your appetizer and drink order before your dinner order. Food comes out so quickly. Great music. Young and hip feeling.

Unfortunately our dinner was ruined by a group of rowdy party guests that the restaurant put in the room where we were seated. We had to leave before we finished. No explanation or warning that this was going to happen. This is not a restaurant but a noisy bar scene. Manager offered no apology ( if indeed he was the manager) and seemed to care less as their focus is on drink not dining . Go there if you want to have overpriced drinks in a rowdy bar.
