Located in the heart of Downtown Pompano Beach, South Bar & Kitchen is a contemporary Southern American concept with a heavy Louisiana influence, infusing Cajun and Creole flavors in a tantalizing way. Bringing people together is at the heart of everything South has to offer, from the community patio with a centerpiece tree adorned with sparkling lights to the meat smoker that not only warms our food but introduces a nostalgic feeling.

We did the ultimate brunch on Saturday morning which was our first time here and all I can say is, everything was perfect. The drinks, food, service, ambience - everything. Pierre was our lovely server and he was very hospitable as wall as everyone who came to check on us. I have been raving about South B&K since I left and o know I will be back soon.

Santa stopped by South Bar & Kitchen, (mostly for the kitchen, Santa does not want to end up on the naughty list.) Had dinner with my CEO (Chief Elf Officer). As usual I had the Craw Daddy, but this time I started with a cup of the soup of the day Crawfish chowder. (It was great, just the right amount of Cajun heat, any more and it would have been too much for my poor old tongue.) My CEO had the shrimp and grits and enjoyed it; though she did say next time she orders it she will ask for the sauce on the side. (It is good but a little too spicy for elves.) Our server Sophia was excellent, and it is always a pleasure to talk with Vladimir when I am down this way. I was one night early for their Halloween celebration, maybe I can stop in for their Christmas celebration, (But that is my busy season.) Ya'll try to stay on the nice list, (you know I am watching.)

Good food with good friends. Food was great. Service was excellent. Jasmine our waitress was the best! This is our second time going to South Bar & Kitchen and it will always be a stop when we come to the area

Restaurant and staff were wonderful. The food and drinks were great. There was live music. We will definitely go back if in the area

The music was just a little too loud which made it difficult to talk to each other. The servers were great but they were spread a little thin and they probably needed a couple of more servers to allow them to be a little more attentive.

Glad we checked out this new spot. A really beautiful place- I loved the inside and outside. Food was great You can tell they make everything - even the kids chicken fingers. So for that, I would 100% come back for. Our server was very nice as well. It was super loud, as it was Sunday brunch with a DJ. He was playing old school hits, so that was nice. I'll definitely be back, but I'll make sure to leave the grandparents home next time! :) I really liked the choice of seasonal veggies as well. Kudos to the chef.

We were greeted with a welcome smile. The entire staff was amazing. Our server Steve was exceptional!!!! Perfect service. Thank you for an awesome evening. Food excellent.
