It was my first time coming here with my friend & his fiancé. The food was delicious but the “sot” price was overpriced- discreetly printed $18 then add ons on top of that. The remainder of the dishes we ordered were delicious & prices listed clearly. It would like to see some more traditional Korean dishes available .

We decided to try SOT over the weekend and it was a welcome addition to Inglewood's dining experiences. A busy place, it was definitely a bit louder than you'd think, so it was difficult to hear our soft-spoken waitress when she described our dishes to us. We had the Pork Hock Terrine, C.A.B Chuck Roll Beef Bulgogi, Soybean Rouge Duck Breast, Braised C.A.B Beef Short Rib, and the SOT Rice (BC Mussels, Shrimp, Scallops, House Made XO Sauce). With this, we drank the lovely Won Mae Plum Wine. All of these dishes were a hit except the Pork Hock Terrine. The issue was that some bites were extremely salty and others seasoned normally; it seemed like they mixed an oversalted batch with a pleasantly seasoned batch and put it all on our plate. The pieces that were good were very good, but it was an unwelcome surprise getting the way-too-salty bites. The rice was incredible (a must-have!), the Bulgogi tender and flavourful, the duck breast was medium rare and juicy, and the beef short ribs (no bones) were rich and delicious. The sides of lotus root and in-house made kimchi were incredible too. We ended up eating the short ribs and Bulgogi too quickly and I forgot to take pictures of those, woops! We are absolutely going to return to try the other dishes!

We had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was top-notch. Sangho was exceptionally kind and helpful, recommending some truly delicious dishes. We ordered the beef tartar, tomato salad, rice, and duck – all perfectly portioned for the two of us. To top it off, they served complimentary sides of kimchi, cucumbers, and beef, which were just as delightful. Every bite was a treat!

No kid. Not family friendly. The restaurant does not like kids. We made note telling them we have kids when making the reso, no phone nor any communication ahead telling us they are not kids friendly until we walk in, they still seat us but announce this is not a kids friendly restaurant. In the middle of the meal we were told the kids are too loud (while the whole restaurant is loud) so we have to hurry and finish the meal. Unpleasant experience.

Every dish we ordered went so incredibly well together! The air-con was a bit cold the night we went, but I think it contrasted nicely with the warm atmosphere and lighting. We’ll definitely come back to try out the lunch sets!

Very good food and service. Relaxing dinning are accompanied with very polite staff. Will return for the second trial.
