We serve 30 different wines by the glass. Happy hour Monday through Friday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Saturday open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Quite possibly the most delicious food and spectacular wine selection in Coral Gables. Shh..don't tell anyone.

I recently dined at Sospiro. I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for quite some time. I have to say I was disappointed. The food was ok, but they served minuscule amounts for very high prices. When we inquired about their wine list, the waiter brought 4 bottles to our table for us to choose. He provided us with an extremely long explanation of the vineyards, the color of the labels, etc. I felt I had registered for a wine appreciation course. A short description would have been acceptable, but he went on and on and on - he then proceeded to explain at length the shape of our wine glasses, etc. This very long expose was not pleasant and too long. I felt he talked down to us. Almost as if it was the first time, we ordered a bottle of wine. However, one thing he failed to tell us was the cost of each bottle. I never ask for prices, but I sensed he was acting a bit too eager to have us choose one wine over the other, so I went ahead and inquired. One bottle was $400, and the others were at our table were over $250; (these were not highly rated wines). I have in the past spent that amount on a good bottle of wine, but it was highly presumptuous for our waiter to assume that we would order blindly without being made aware of the cost. Additionally, I must add, that the restaurant is a cute and very casual place – one would not expect to be charged those high prices for a bottle of wine, especially without prior knowledge of the prices. I don't believe I will be returning to this restaurant.

Charming little spot . No WOW food, tiny menu, but it’s a happy spot with happy service, very friendly and try hard to please. I’d come back

Lovely place for nice wine and food. So happy you are in the Gables! Staff is beautiful and attentive. Highly recommend!

The ambiance was wonderful, while the food and wine was delicious! The service was exceptional as well. This is a perfect spot in the gables for a date or to catch up with your friends!
