Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings to the Poconos a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio.

Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.

The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

Have been her three times before was always good this last visit food was not good at all 3 people in our party of 5 got sick after eating.

Will come back here again. Food and service was were awesome! The fact that they had a family bathroom and looks like a diaper trash bin super helpful!!

Made last minute reservations at the resort and was pleasantly surprised with the food. My family and I literally enjoyed our meals. However, if you’ve ever eaten at an Italian restaurant, you know you’ll get a lot of food. We ended up taking the leftovers back to our room and had it for breakfast the next day LOL! Service was great, our waitress was attentive and accommodating. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kalahari Resorts.

We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. The staff was friendly and on spot with our orders. The food was genuinely Italian and served hot in a timely manner. The children enjoyed items off the child's menu. I would dine here again.

Sortino’s once again did not disappoint! We take a family trip to Kalahari every year and one of the highlights we most look forward to is dinner at Sortino’s. The atmosphere is incredible, the service is top notch, and the food is the true star of the show! If you plan to visit Kalahari, or find yourself in the area, DO NOT MISS!!!

Atmosphere was nice. Food wasn’t very hot when it came out. Only three tables of people there and we still couldn’t seem to get service…. Just overall not a great place to dine.

This food was uneatable! Steak tasted like it was made 3 days ago then microwaved. 5 people and not one of us ate our main course. Pasta tasted like noodles and ketchup. I wish I can give it less than one star. The waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. If the food was good, price wouldn’t be so bad, but being that the food was the worst I’ve ever tasted, it was frustrating paying over $200. Only thing that was good was the bread, stay far away!!
