Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings to the Poconos a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio.

Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.

The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

Great time food was delicious and our waitress Jane was awesome. She made our evening and dining experience feel like home away from home. Coffee and desserts were a bonus

We have been to Sortino’s twice at different Kalahari locations. The food is tasty (not amazing) and portions are a great size. Our server was very good; attentive and timely with everything we needed. We would definitely dine here again when visiting the water park.

I highly recommend Sortino’s. The food and service were exemplary. We dined three nights during our five night stay. Every appetizer and main course were excellent!

My sister and I split the chicken Marsala. We were the first people in the restaurant. After we ate most of the dish, which it was very good, we noticed that the chicken was pink and completely raw. We told the waiter who brought the manager to the table. I am not one to ever say anything but this was disgusting. The manager tried to explain that the chef insisted it wasn’t undercooked but close to a joint. Either way the manager said he would have absolutely not ate it and it was disgusting. They took the one dish off the bill. Now we are waiting to see if we get sick.

Oder was brought out as to go instead of sit down service. 2- I specifically put in for birthday celebration, other tables celebrated but not ours. Very disappointed and will not be back to this establishment.

We had a large party and were seated promptly. Staff was friendly and accommodating, food was delicious. It was a great dining experience!
