Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings to the Poconos a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio.

Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.

The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

Always delicious food great service and highly underrated experience. My kids always get to come back.

Food is really good! Everything on point. Service was really bad at least our waitress it was awful service. Restaurant is beautiful but need better service.

The food was above average but not worth the price, of course with kalahri you expect to spent a lot more. I've been to restaurants with better italian food at a more reasonable price, overall I wasn't super impressed but it was better than most.

Had the chicka bon or something like that. Super delicious. The bread they gave us at the beginning was warm and soft. My wife had the risotto and she loved it. Very impressed coming from New York City.

Food was really salty and oily… Couldn’t eat it. Appetizers were ok. Dessert was good- gelato and cannoli. None of us including the kids ate the food, which ended up to be a kind of expensive waste. Waitress was really sweet though.

Food is tasty, but tortellini were too dense and sauce was too thick. I'm from Brooklyn and am Italian, so was disappointed with the cannoli. The cannoli filing had weird texture and taste, although the shell was good. The gelato was delicious. The garlic bread on table was nothing special, it was dense and lacked flavor, even my kids didn't like the bread. Our server was wonderful, polite and friendly, and service great.
