Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old-school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings the Kalahari a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in downtown Sandusky, Ohio.

Amazing staff and food was top notch! Owner of the restaurant came to our table and sat for a minute to welcome us! Food was amazing! Great taste and great portions! There was one minor issue and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience from start to finish! They made us feel like family! Like we were joining them for Sunday dinner!

The entire meal was very delectable. All of the meats were super soft. The food was cooked perfectly, and the white wine was exceptional.

The food was on par with any fine dining Italian restaurant anywhere. Service was excellent.

We have eaten here a few times since we have our work conference here. Our waitress was super sweet, but seemed extremely overwhelmed. Two of my friends are gluten free and both ended up super sick due to some sort of gluten contamination on their meals. They specifically asked the waitress to make sure the kitchen was alerted their meals were gluten free and ordered off the gluten free menu and still had a reaction. Another friend at the table also ended up getting sick from the food, but it was not related to cross contamination with gluten. The restaurant really needs to make sure the kitchen follows proper protocol for gluten free meals.

The kids LOVED the pizza. Our food was great as well. Portions were big and service was great!
