Sora is a deliberately thought out plan to bring an elevated sushi experience to the Midwest.
Visit us on social @eatatsora for all updates to our menu and events!
Sunday through Wednesday we offer a wide variety of sushi and hot-line items until 10pm but our bar will stay open later for guest to enjoy cocktails and the ambiance.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday we offer our full menu from 4-11 and a limited "late-night" menu from 11-1 for anyone that is looking for a late bite. Our bar on the weekend is full service until 2am always offering great music, friendly staff and eclectic vibes. Annually a "Best Of" winner. Come and join us!

The Sora Omakase experience invites you to enjoy an 18+ course tasting led by Head Chef Kevin Wang. Each tasting is hosted in Sora's private dining room and uniquely designed. My wife and I had a wonderful time at Sora for date night. The tables are spaced far enough apart that you feel like you always have an intimate, private dining experience without sacrificing the energy of a popular restaurant. The food was excellent. We had the scallop ceviche appetizer, the chef's choice sushi & nigiri dinner to share and some cocktails/mocktails. Every single food we had was outstanding. Everything on the menu that we tried felt well thought-out and blended ingredients and flavors delightfully well. The wait staff was excellent. Attentive, but not overly so. Very knowledgeable of the menu, so pleasant to interact with. You can tell this is a first-rate establishment by the remarkable front-of-house team. We were made the feel welcome, comfortable and never rushed as we enjoyed the experience in a cool space with great ambience. We will 100% go back. My only thing resembling a gripe was the high prices, but you are getting what you pay for. A premium experience in The Flats East Bank.

It took about 30 minutes until I finally had a drink in my hand. Our food presentation was awesome however it was by far the worst food my husband and I have ever had while eating out. I'm never one to write a negative review like this but we were very disappointed given how much we spent to dine there. The vibe of the restaurant was great but do not go hungry.

The ambiance the restaurant was excellent. It's a beautiful place and the music was perfect, not too loud with a fun upbeat vibe. We were a table of 8 and able to hold conversation which is always a plus. The appetizers we got were great; I highly recommend the crispy rice w/spicy tuna and the steam buns. We got 3 big platters of sushi that we all thought was too much initially but only 2 pieces of sashimi was left in the end. I had the spicy tuna poke bowl, which was good but wasn't really spicy. Luckily someone had a few jalepeños they couldn't handle from the appetizer so I was able to add them. The birthday presentation was SO fun with a big shooting sparkler candle and mochi. The only negative thing about the evening was the cost of parking...for a Sunday night $40 seemed super extreme. ☹︎

we had the most amazing time at Sora. The atmosphere was beautiful and charming. The colors and the decorations added to the experience. The food was fantastic, some of the best sushi I have every had. The wait staff were amazing, particularly our waitress. It was birthday and she had a dessert ordered for me, however I was not aware and we left. She came running after me to let me know and offered me the opportunity to eat it which I thought went above and beyond. The dessert was delicious btw.

Your sushi rice unfortunately tastes bad. It’s too vinegary and tastes very unpleasant. It’s also gummy. The sushi chefs were talking negatively about patrons in the restaurant. Whispering, then looking at the people, then talking, then, laughing, and more staring. It happened throughout our meal. Your hostesses sprint when taking us to the table. They should walk much slower so we aren’t chasing her. Overall, none of these (and the other unpleasant things we experienced) creates a very pleasant experience for people.

We had a fantastic time celebrating our daughter’s , 21st birthday. Our service was amazing and the food was fantastic! It has a lot of photo opportunities, also.

Brennan was incredible, he gave is a rundown of the menu and was very helpful in picking the beatof the best Brennan was very attentive, funny, and knowledgeable - we'll be coming back soon for sure !
