From the beautifully prepared and exquisitely presented dishes, to the hand crafted local foraged cocktails, it is our goal to bring a homage of gratitude for Khmer cuisine to the Phinney Ridge neighborhood. Every dish is designed thoughtfully, by the owner, Karuna Long for you and your family to share. Our menu and preparations take emphasis on fresh local ingredients that arrive daily with pronounced flavors from all parts of Cambodia.

Sophon is a full-service restaurant and bar located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, WA. We’re open daily; Tuesday - Saturday Serving Dinner from 5p First seating - 9p Last Seating

Second visit, this time for my birthday. The first was just a couple of weeks after it opened. Everything from the ambience to the service and, of course, the amazing food, was on point! Both the mushroom and chicken khmeraage were hot, crisp and delicious with a wonderful aioli. The green papaya salad was crisp and perfectly spiced. The pork belly entree was simply unctious! Great service too. We love this place!

Drinks are out of this world. The food was variable with the appetizers decidedly more flavorful and tasty than the mains - need more sauce, salt, and flavor despite excellent visual appeal. Fun place and nice staff.

Our second dinner at Sophon. We were a party of 4; including one vegan and one person with an egg allergy. Everything we ordered, including the vegan dishes, was delicious. Beautiful and delicious food, pleasant decor, interesting cocktails and wines, competent and friendly service, moderate cost. Definitely recommended.

Eating at Sophon brings me back memories of growing up in Cambodia but with a modern twist ;) The flavors was on point I love that the head chef source the ingredients locally. Trying to make Khmer dishes with local ingredients can be hard and I think head chef Karuna did an amazing job! I love supporting my Khmer people. Servers was amazing nice and friendly:)

Siphon was excellent! The food, service, and ambiance were all 5-star! We went early and sat at the bar to have a Mekong cocktail, which was blended deliciousness. Once we moved to our table, we enjoyed the fried chicken thighs, ground pork “dip” and eggplant main. All were so flavorful and unique. For dessert, I highly recommend the glutinous rice. So delicious and a good balance of sweet and savory.

The three of us loved everything we ordered, including two main dishes(one vegetarian, one pork belly), two starters (chicken and mushroom) one side (the outstanding cha banh-lie), rice and an almond tart dessert. We loved how beautiful the food looked on the plate as well as the range of fresh, imaginative tastes. We had two NA limeades off the happy hour menu, each for an additional dollar. Very pleased with our meal and the overall ambiance is perfect! A wonderful addition to our neighborhood!

Amazing! The chef/owner even came over to us during the meal. Incredible thoughtful service. Love Khmer food and can’t wait to be back!
