We want Sophie's to be a place where one could have a good, hearty meal (comfort food), simple and unpretentious, at a fair price. Our goal is to produce an atmosphere where people can come for lunch, a full dinner, a late snack, a glass of wine or a big cup of coffee and feel comfortable and at home. Our menu is diverse enough for everyone, yet simple enough so the average person will not get overwhelmed with numerous menu choices and complications. Our basic premise is to provide quality food and good service at a fair price in an unpretentious atmosphere. The décor is modeled after classic French Bistros. French country antiques, large open shuttered windows, dark woods, soft pastel colors and walls covered with family pictures make Sophie's an intimate cozy environment

Love Sophie’s Bistro. Always an enjoyable experience. Great cocktails, delicious wine, fabulous food. You cannot go wrong with this one.

Sophie’s Bistro is unpretentious fine dining at it’s best. The food is always very good and the service is wonderful. The owner comes around to say hello. We always enjoy our dinner there.

Always wanted to go to Sophie’s and this was the second time in a few months. Food and service are excellent. Feel like I’m in Paris.

Just got back from Paris and Bordeaux and Sophie's had to be the first restaurant we went to. If you want great food and that bistro atmosphere, you can never go wrong at Sophie's.

Great restaurant! We cannot wait to go back . Peter the owner is so welcoming. Food and service great ! We started with the mussels in white wine,butter and garlic sauce , delish ! Also the Pizza De Provence with baked pear slices and blue cheese, yummy !! Main course all great . Le Coq Au Vin , Lamb shank and sliced duck breast excellent!

Always a treat to go to Sophie’s Bistro. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming. Escargot always and followed by soft shell crab this visit. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Go, enjoy…highly recommended.

Wonderful birthday dinner at Sophie's Bistro last night! Between the 4 of us, we started with the Onion Soup, Sophie's Cheese Platter, Beet Salad, and the Pate Maison. All were fantastic and nice to share. For our main courses, we had the Seafood Vol au Vent (me), which was sublime, the lamb shank - so good! The Steak au Poivre Vert, deeply flavorful and enjoyable, and a Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta, which was good, but not as good as the other entrees. Service was friendly and spot-on and we had a great time!
