I like the Dean Hotel but last evenings dinner was disappointing.....my pepperoni pizza was so hot it took my breath away and the pepperoni was dried out. We ordered fries and had to find a server to remind them and then waited again. I ordered tea and it never came. I was happy with the birthday candle on the desert which was nice it had been noted. The servers were very nice. Value was poor, too expensive, A nice atmosphere as usual but not sure I'll return.

It has been nice overall, good portions for the price, looking well but honestly we did expect more in professionalism in terms of service, uniforms, presentation of a menu for such looking ambient of a restaurant and place

Service was absolutely outstanding. Very warm and courteous. They executed the birthday part of the dinner perfectly. All in all, we were very happy with our experience.

We booked the outside table for the view but we're put out back where there is no view nothing , portions are small and over priced . Have been there afew times but don't think we will be returning much nicer menus and value for money in many of the others places in cork city and even kinsale

Service excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our night at Sophie’s. The food is mediocre, the prawns with chilli had not one hint of heat - I honestly don’t think there was any chilli in the recipe! The pizza is so so. Cocktails were delicious and I can’t praise the staff enough, the level of service on a very busy night made up for the passable food.

Excellent dining experience at Sophie's restaurant in The Dean, Cork. We both opted for the Monkfish, which was delicious. The ambience was lovely - wonderful view at sunset overlooking Cork City. Not overpriced for what was a special experience. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional in their attention to the customers. We would highly recommend dining at Sophie's.

Food extremely bland, not a place to go for food but definitely for the views and surroundings and drinks

Staff were attentive and engaged. Food was well prepared and presented. Seating was spacious and allowed privacy. A mention of meeting for a birthday celebration was responded to beautifully
