The next see-and-be-seen nightlife destination will feature two distinct concepts, including Downstairs, Sophie's living room, an intimate cocktail bar, and an expansive second-floor open-air terrace bar. The menu will boast both signature and presentation-based cocktails, extensive selections of domestic and French wines, plus a delightful selection of Mediterranean tapas-style bites. Poised to be a neighborhood staple, Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar will be open seven days a week, offering guests a variety of programming from happy hour, DJ nights, live music, weekend brunch, and more!

a friend and I tried out this restaurant for the first time on a saturday night, it wasnt what we expected. we came for dinner and drinks and were sat upstairs, its more of a bar and club vibe with a dj so it was loud. the service was poor we asked to be helped multiple times they brought out one plate of food with no silverware or drinks so we ended up sending it back and leaving. it was disappointing

Checked in, was told to get a drink while they prepared the table, while waiting for drink she calls (mind you I was 5 steos from her) and I dont answe but instead walk over and say “here I am”. she says, “owe when you did not answer i gave your table away”. restaurant run like amateur hour. small menu and options limited.

The food was delicious but I think it’s misleading to say that you can select standard seating because it’s all outside…in Houston. It was so hot. The noise was so loud. The food and drinks are good but it’s a kind of uncomfortable experience.

I will never come back. Parking was not accessible. The restaurant did not answer the phone. We got to the upstairs bar where they told us the hostess would be the hostess ignored us after signaling for her attention five times at that point we had to get additional assistance to help us with our reservation and once we got help, the hostess told us we were late at that point we had to indicate how long we’ve waited just to get her attention to have a table ready , when we got to our table, the server did not acknowledge us. He spoke to the tables to the right and left and never asked for our assistance. We end up, ordering drinks by walking up to the bar and was never acknowledged the entire night.

One has to watch the steps entering the patio area because everyone trips on the steps. The one gentleman fell on the floor. The bar is very slow.

Great food and drinks! Smaller place so highly recommend a reservation. Most seating is outside, but it’s very pretty.

Food is decent. Drinks were not good at all especially considering the price of them. Atmosphere was good though. If the price of drinks were were better or the quality of the drinks was actually good I would make it a regular spot considering I live close by. But can’t justify returning for how it is at the moment.

Love this place! Amazing atmosphere and beautiful decor. Great spot for after work drinks or a girls night on the weekend.

Weekends are hectic, be mindful of your reservation time and be aware you might have to wait due to how busy it is. Overall it was a nice spot, food was good, drinks were cute, and service was good. Maybe visiting on a midweek, early evening could be a better experience.
