The food is phenomenal, though the menu is not very extensive. It's a bar. They happen to have a GREAT menu at which they excel. I ordered their version of surf and turf - scallops and pork belly. It was an odd mix that works really well together. I also had the skillet cookie which is a molten hot sugar bomb (and delicious, as well). Drinks - just ask for what you want. Their bartenders are good at what they do. I also ordered room service for breakfast from Sophia's. Their eggs Benedict was among the best I've ever had. The only thing I'd change is to get their management and team members to meet somewhere else besides the left end of the bar if people are sitting there. Discussions about sports betting seemed a little off-brand to me. Anyway, the food is great and the people are awesome. I'll be back!

Just simply stunning experience..very retro vibe..service was top of the line! Food was incredible and drinks were out of this world…worth every penny!! Definitely coming back

Such a vibe!!! Met a friend from out of town here for brunch and it was so perfect. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was delicious. Would absolutely recommend!

We were put in a very small table in corner by back bar and wait staff hallway. There were amazing tables with padded arm chairs and all other tables were in open space except ours. Paid the same as everyone else and where we were secluded and by waitstaff bar and hallway made the experience dark and not part of the general other beautiful areas. For the price, the food was not worth it. Could’ve been a nice experience if less money and better table. The table we were at should not have been used.

Ashley is the BEST server in Charlotte; she is just a wonderful person and looks after everyone's needs for dining. Sophia's is a true gem in the Queen City.
