Lovely and stylish. Joyful to have a nice, sophisticated restaurant in our neighborhood.💕💐Enter being transported to another time; smooth jazz band feels the air, rich dark woods, casting golden glow from chandeliers and sumptuous vibe. Ready for a good time. Drinks were delicious and smooth. First course all 4 stars. Everything was great looking forward to return and sample even more menu options. A Supreme drink, shrimp cocktail, parker rolls, wagu steak, potatoes, brussel sprouts. No room for dessert this time. Wish them great success.

The ambiance was perfect. It was like walking into the 1920s-1940’s Harlem Renaissance. Beautiful people, sexy drinks, food was good.

Live jazz, great ambiance, food and cocktails. Nothing like it in LA. Our neighborhood has been starving for a place like this. Well done!

Unfortunately they were our of several popular items that we wanted to try: parker rolls, NY strip, lasagna, lamb, and risotto. I imagine this will improve after the soft opening. The food options we were able to try were solid, but not exceptional. Cocktails were pretty good. Overall, I think the pricing feels appropriate for the quality of food. Music and vibes are great. The restaurant is beautiful, but the design is tricky. Many of the tables are designed such that your party is entirely seated on one-side of the table so you end up facing either another dining party, a wall, or the kitchen directly. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table that faced the back kitchen, and the beautiful restaurant was behind us. Also many of the tables barely fit 4 people. I saw a couple tables where people were over-flowing from their booth seating.

Somerville is a gem with an ideal location and an amazing ambience. The food menu is limited but well-prepared, and the drinks are excellent. The service was superb, and the music added to the lively atmosphere. Reservations can be tricky—our waiter mentioned no availability til mid January, so book early if you plan to visit. Despite this, I’d definitely return for the great vibe and exceptional experience. Highly recommend

Wonderful service and ambiance! So excited for this place to be a staple in the neighborhood and to the city!!!!! The bread was amazing and the drinks were special!

Somerville accommodated us for a larger party as best they could from such a high debut demand. We were seated promptly. Service, food, drinks, vibe were all outstanding. Fantastic blessing to the neighborhood and will be patronizing Somerville for years to come.

A few kinks as a newly opened restaurant but just lovely ambiance with the jazz trio and the atmosphere and lighting. I loved seeing beautiful dressed people in such a great setting.
