In a stunning location overlooking the Thames, the Somerset House Terrace Bar includes an amazing covered bar and dining area as well as plenty of alfresco options which make it the perfect venue to your London Summer! The San Miguel team have created a striking environment in with to enjoy a drink or two by the river, paired with a memorable menu designed by Jimmy himself. Jimmy will be serving up a selection of traditional tapas using locally sourced ingredients, Catalan Coca (flatbreads) from our Coca Oven plus some delicious Sangrias and cocktails.

Overall fairly mediocre despite the lovely location for a summer evening. Small tapas menu. Food was enjoyable though not exceptional. After the initial drinks order it took effort to catch a server's eye and we had to signal when we wanted anything, including to order. No one paid us much attention but service was friendly when it eventually arrived. There are so many better places I won't go there again.

Great service and decent sangria package. £25pp for bottomless sangria for 2 hours.

Delighted with our visit. Staff made big fuss of our bride-to-be, couldn’t have been better. Lovely friendly atmosphere, my party of six all intend to re-visit! Very happy customer, thank you for giving me the chance to review.

Lovely venue, decent prices for London! Staff were really helpful. The only take card payments. Not much food choice but nice. Would definitely go back.

Overall it was OK. The menu was very limited, but where there was, was very good. Some of our food arrived reasonable quickly, but the rest took over half an hour. Our waitress was great and very helpful. Would I go back? Maybe. It's basically a bar with food as an afterthought, but the location is great, it's nice to to be out in the open air but well protected, and a stone's throw from the South Bank.

First visit to the terrace and will definitely be back as really liked it. The staff were very attentive and quick to take orders for food and drinks. Food was very tasty and fresh and didn't take long to arrive after ordering. The style and layout was also totally unique and ws a bit cool on the day (early June) so they even turned heaters on for us. Great venue and can't wait to come back!
