As a party of 4 we had a meal here on New Years Eve. The restaurant was extremely busy. However we all still got an excellent meal with very good service. We all took the seafood option. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

New Year’s Eve dinner in Sole was outstanding. Gabriel was our server and was super. Food was amazing 10 out of 10

Our Starter and main courses were outstanding. The fish pie was heavenly. Service was a bit slow but that was fine as it gave us a break between courses. My dessert was a bit disappointing- cold Xmas pudding with cold custard and ice cream. Imagine if the pudding was warm- it would've been Devine. Shame. I ordered a green tea and got a mint one - not quite the same, but hardly worth complaining about.

Food was amazing with ample choices on the NYE set menu, lovely friendly staff. Only negative we didn't get offered a mince pie that was detailed on the menu as being included just because we didn't have coffee still should have been given the option.

Supberb experience all round , our starters were a bit delayed , so we were treated to a portion of oysters and a glass of bubbles by way of apology. Cannot recommend this highly enough

Hadn’t been to the restaurant in 4 months but felt like it was only weeks as soon as we received food it was apparent it is top notch food & seemed so familiar highly recommend a visit

Oysters were outstanding and the mussels were delicious. Tiny scallops for a €3 supplement was a bit excessive, but they were delicious. Monkfish and chorizo was really lovely, but the fish and chips were very oily and heavy. Batter was definitely not light and crispy. Exceptionally long time between starters and main courses, with no explanation. Overall it was OK, but I doubt we'll be back.
