Enjoy a warm Irish welcome in this stylish restaurant where the pleasure of fine wine and great food meets. From shore to soil, provenance is paramount in producing a menu full of show-stopping dishes such as the Captain’s Seafood Platter; a two-tier shared tower of grilled Irish lobster and steamed Roaring water Bay mussels, plus fresh oysters, prawns and Howth smoked Irish salmon, served with Guinness brown soda bread and traditional seafood accompaniments and sauces; or the Sole Meunière; a whole Dover sole, which is filleted at the table for you. 1st time here .. place is stunning .waiter was brilliant.. I had steak which I asked for well done .. my fault .. it was like rubber .. potatoes were warm ..but tasted good .. my friend gad seabass . Which was good .. we shared a keylime tart.. didn't taste homemade 😪 quite disappointing.. I will try it again and get the fish because I like the ambeince..can't fault staff 🙂🙂🙂

Mature couple just out for an evening meal, no special occasion. We were seated beside a waiter station which was not very pleasant, You should avoid this table. Tables are very close together, about a foot apart, we could not avoid over-hearing the couple next to us. Service was efficient, but not super friendly. It was our third time eating at this restaurant. Starters were Scallops (good) and Caesar Salad (very good). Mains were Rib eye steak (poor - maybe not a great choice in a fish restaurant) and Scallops in a sauce done in the shell (good but not great, sauce lacked flavoring), Just one dessert Key Lime pie (also good but not great). We had 3 glasses of wine (one of which was very small) and two Gin and tonics to start. Total cost €226.90 for two, very pricey especially as we only had one dessert! I would not be in a hurry back.

It wasn’t a bad experience but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. Main course took quite a while to come and it was cold.

We asked for a quiet table, which is exactly what we got. Thais on the front desk was very helpful and as we were running late, she allowed us a little extra time over our original booking. Great ambience, excellent food and super customer service. We’ll be back!

Service is as excellent. All staff very professional. Food excellent too. Tuna tataki starter and monkfish main course I would highly recommend. Also the beef carpaccio and halibut. From start to finish our experience in Sole was exceptional.
