I am a professional Chef with more than 40 years of experience in the culinary world, all over many Countries. I am actually based in Manhattan - NY, where I manage my own company. In Italy I have been working in my restaurant for 17 years where I was awarded of my first MICHELIN STAR in 2007. I am really fond of fine dining and high end food.

First time going to this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was that my favorite waiter was still working here, even though the owners had changed. I wish the purple awning had been replaced with a new one making this place more Sola Osteria defined, but it looks like they just rolled it up enough to cover the old name. Upon arrival we were treated like gold. The waiter immediately brought us to our table and the service was superb throughout the night. We ordered appetizers and they were good overall but the Caesar salad had gigantic pieces of lettuce and the shrimp cocktail with Rosa sauce needed a lot more sauce. We both ordered pasta, and we were in heaven with our choices. Dessert was really good but there was so much time between the appetizers and the main course I actually had to walk down the block to get another bottle of wine for dinner. The owner came over to greet us and was very cordial. Overall I would say that I will definitely come back and I’m very glad I tried this place!

Great new find in NJ. Chef Sola outdid himself with exquisite, delicious dishes as well as greeting guests to his new restaurant. We really enjoyed the meal and highly recommend it to any foodie out there. Bravo Chef Sola. Wishing you years of success

The food was excellent and certainly exceeded any and all expectations. The chef and owner both went table to table to check in with all guests and ensure they were enjoying both their food and their experience. You don’t see service like that anymore especially in the tri-state area. I certainly plan on returning.

The food was phenomenal and very fresh. The Owner and the entire staff was very accommodating and nothing short of polite and respectful. I felt like I was back in Italy at a local favorite mom&pop restaurant. I highly recommend Chef Massimo Sola & his restaurant Sola Osteria

Sola Osteria is a lovely new restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ. The setting, service and food were excellent. The menu is elegant northern Italian and our dinner was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Was there with two girlfriends. The service and food was excellent. The owner Massimo was so welcoming. Very nice to have a new local restaurant in Ridgewood. Looking forward to going back.

Both the food and service were outstanding! We celebrated my son’s graduation from elementary school and everyone truly made us feel welcome and helped make the day extra special.

We booked this restaurant for Father's Day and it did not disappoint! The appetizers were absolutely delicious and the dinner was just as fabulous! The service was great and Chef Massimo Sola also came out to check on us, which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend Sola Osteria!!
