Comme le souvenir d'une cantina animée, le restaurant Soltoro Tequila Grill est situé sur le plancher de casino du Casino Mohegan Sun of the Sky (à côté de l'entrée du centre des congrès). On y mélange la saveur traditionnelle et l'authenticité avec une approche moderne. Le Soltoro sert une cuisine mexicaine contemporaine dans une atmosphère qui rayonne d'énergie et de plaisir. Soltoro is elevating their game. The menu just keeps getting better and better. The new offerings are tasty and a welcomed change. We were served by Tony, he was amazing, just made our visit so much better with the knowledge of the menu and recommendations, great attitude. The drinks were amazing with the fall drinks. Will definitely return.

We normally love Sol Toro, but last night everything was off from the meal to the service. Chimichangas were salty and waiter rarely came back to see, if we needed beverages. Finally, we had to ask his co-worker to help us.

Our experience at Sol Toro on Friday night was excellent due to the cheerful ambiance and the efficient and gracious service. The tableside guacamole was The Best! A big bucket of warm, crispy chips was delicious. The presentation of the food was very good. The reason I cannot give this lovely restaurant a higher rating is that the tacos were excessively salty. Both the chicken ones and the ground beef. I feel bad even writing about it, but I hope the restaurant will read this and take it in. Most restaurants these days leave the excess salting up to the diner, and are conservative with salt. But, overall, I would return there. And order a different dish.

Went early before a show and we had to push back our reservation by 30 minutes due to a traffic accident. The staff was very helpful and accommodated our need. Sat at the bar for a drink and an appetizer while we waited. Only disappointment of the night was ordering the tableside margarita special for my wife. $24 to watch someone awkwardly prepare a margarita behind hour chairs. For $24 you're paying for a little showmanship. My wife did love the drink, though. We were seated promptly, and the waitress was attentive and helpful. All four dishes were good proportions, very tasty and well presented. The steak dishes are pricey but the steak and potato dinner will feed an NFL lineman or a family of four! Fish tacos and short rib tacos were overflowing and very delicious. Beef Chimichanga was cooked perfectly and there were no leftovers. Steak quesadilla was full of juicy steak chunks. We sat and chatted after the meal and were not rushed to leave and the staff was very accommodating. Overall, a go to place if we want some Mexican food since we live nearby.

I met up with an old friend there from college. He picked the restaurant which is not my type of food usually, but I found something very editable to eat like a steak fajita and it was very good and came just as I ordered it. The margarita I had was outstanding so that is why I think it was a very good deal. The prices were very good and since I bought the tickets to the concert we attended, but friend picked up the dinner tab making it even better.

We had reservations for 4:30 prior to a 7:30 pm show. Everything was perfect and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend going there.
