Comme le souvenir d'une cantina animée, le restaurant Soltoro Tequila Grill est situé sur le plancher de casino du Casino Mohegan Sun of the Sky (à côté de l'entrée du centre des congrès). Food was great. Restaurant was full and waitstaff was difficult to connect with after ordering. Had to ask for my drink twice and it still took time to receive it after the second request (it was a soda). It was very loud and difficult to hear people at my table of 3. The bass from the nightclub next door also contributed to the noise level (our reservation was from 5-7pm). We would go back but maybe not at that time of day.

The drinks were excellent. The salsa and chips were also good. I ordered a steak with a loaded baked potato. The steak was supposed to be cooked medium well but the center was clearly medium rare. I could only eat about half of it(outsides). Was not a fan of the rice and beans. The rice was flavorless and clearly made in large batches as it was stale. The beans were meh. Not the worst part of the meal. The server was nice and genuinely cared.

Excellent dinner and drinks! I ordered the chicken burrito with a side order of sautéed vegetables and a frozen strawberry margarita! The best margarita I’ve ever had! Will definitely be going back for dinner again soon!

Visited Sol Toro for my 55th birthday. Was welcomed with a greeting card and a free shot. Our server Gina went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening, including working with the kitchen to find an egg free dessert for me to enjoy. It made my day much more enjoyable. The ambiance the food and the drinks were fantastic as always and also a great value.
