Comme le souvenir d'une cantina animée, le restaurant Soltoro Tequila Grill est situé sur le plancher de casino du Casino Mohegan Sun of the Sky (à côté de l'entrée du centre des congrès). The Hostess on Saturday night was amazing and very funny...Our waitress Jen was also great. They both really made our night. I HIGHLY recommend the cocktails, Salsa and Guac. I promise you will not be disappointed. Ask for a hightop table by the entrance if you want to people watch. My only complaints would be about the steak. The carne asada needs a better spice rub and more char for it to really hit the spot....

Food and service were good. We were eating and a large party came in, we were stuck between the two tables and it became quite loud as the party were shouting back and forth to each other. They should have planned for the party before seating us.

Our waiter Anthony, was excellent! He is very friendly and worked hard to please us. We were a party of 6, and the food and drinks were great! We had the tableside guac which was perfect! Also, we had the special margarita at tableside. Very good!

We had a great experience at Sol Toro before the CT Sun game on Friday, Oct, 4. We were greeted nicely, sat in a comfy booth, and had wonderful service from Flavio. He was friendly, personable, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal. We will be back!

Soltoro is elevating their game. The menu just keeps getting better and better. The new offerings are tasty and a welcomed change. We were served by Tony, he was amazing, just made our visit so much better with the knowledge of the menu and recommendations, great attitude. The drinks were amazing with the fall drinks. Will definitely return.

We normally love Sol Toro, but last night everything was off from the meal to the service. Chimichangas were salty and waiter rarely came back to see, if we needed beverages. Finally, we had to ask his co-worker to help us.

Our experience at Sol Toro on Friday night was excellent due to the cheerful ambiance and the efficient and gracious service. The tableside guacamole was The Best! A big bucket of warm, crispy chips was delicious. The presentation of the food was very good. The reason I cannot give this lovely restaurant a higher rating is that the tacos were excessively salty. Both the chicken ones and the ground beef. I feel bad even writing about it, but I hope the restaurant will read this and take it in. Most restaurants these days leave the excess salting up to the diner, and are conservative with salt. But, overall, I would return there. And order a different dish.
