Situé au cœur du quartier de Cherry Creek, le restaurant SOL Cocina propose une expérience culinaire haut de gamme, mais chaleureuse, pour goûter les meilleurs plats de la région de Baja. Le chef exécutif Deborah Schneider, lauréate du prix James Beard Foundation Book Award en 2009, a créé un menu composé d'interprétations contemporaines et gastronomiques de la cuisine de rue de Baja, comprenant notamment des antojitos, des tacos de rue, des cocktails de fruits de mer ainsi que des plats principaux à base de fruits de mer frais, des viandes grillées au feu de bois, de produits locaux ainsi que de salsas fraîchement préparées chaque jour.

Always a winner in the Cherry Creek district and using Open Table to secure a reservation is a snap. Food is always delicious and cocktails are unique.

We went for a date night and it was about 2 hours total which was fine because we didn’t have anywhere to be. Food was spaced well and we didn’t feel rushed. We sat towards the back and it was still very loud and difficult to hear the server at times. Everything was good, spicy margarita a bit too much for my taste. I would go back for that wild fish alone, it was phenomenal. With an app, desert, 2 entrees and 2 margaritas it was about $150, totally reasonable.

Service was wonderful, happy hour drinks were literally just ice and 1 sip of a drink. Realized we were better off paying for the Jumbo after a few rounds of happy hour.

Little confusion when we ordered. The server said they were out of both of the chile rellenos ? It was only 7:00 W e thought she would have informed us when she took the drink orders? 3 of the six we’re disappointed and it took a few minutes for them to find something else. When she came back, she informed us that they now had the chili Rellenos ? Great. When the food came, they brought the wrong.Rellenos? Our party recognized it and said they didn’t wanna hassle with sending it back. During all this, the waitress dropped a glass right at my feet and it shattered everywhere. She was apologetic. When the bill came it overcharged on a couple of the dishes because they put in the wrong order. I was surprised that the fish burritos were served with catfish which I thought was a little strange. So I opted for the shrimp. Only three shrimp inside the burrito? It was average at best . I’ve had better experiences at Sol.

Oh my God, everything was exceptional. We absolutely love Philip our waiter. We had him on New Year’s Eve and we were lucky enough to have him again on my birthday dinner tonight. He is exceptional. We go out to dinner all the time and he is honestly one of the best waiters we have ever had. This man deserves a raise and a promotion!! The nicest human being and so on top of his game of taking care of everything we needed. An absolute amazing experience which just made my birthday even more special. Thank you, thank you thank you for everything.

have been at the Sol Mexican Cocina in difference locations the one in Denver was very disappointing the waitress, food and over haul experience was horrible. It took over 1 hour to get are food which was mediocre at best endied up being a 2 1/2 hour dinner. This place needs new management and staff.
