At Soho we are a restaurant located just opposite St james park football ground. We specialise in Korean & Japanese Food. Our concept focuses on a range of small plates including Robata Grill, Sushi & Seafood with a number of large plates available. Our chefs focus on a combination of big flavours and presentation. As well as a restaurant we are also a bar serving asian inspired cocktails, wines and beers from around the world.

First and last time sadly. Staff miserable. Couldn’t be bothered. We asked if we could order a side of katsu curry sauce as we had ordered too much rice. Said not possible. They sell Katsu Chicken as a main meal. We asked if they can do a side of noodles. They said no. They sell plenty of main dishes with noodles. Spent over £100 while entertaining friend from down south, and a very disappointing evening. Even asked if we could move to a seating booth, rather than a regular table, and told no it was booked (he sounded unsure) - and ten minutes later we see them give it to a walk-in.

I visited the restaurant with my wife and daughter mid week for the first time on impressed with the service, quality food and overall price. There was a great selection to choose from and it was super tasty.

A lovely experience, SOHO NCL never disappoints. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding, staff are welcoming and there is always a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for having us ! ❤️

I love Soho, it's my favourite place to treat myself to a solo lunch (their seafood pancake is 👌🏻) or a lovely dinner with friends or dates. Recently booked for my birthday lunch and they surprised me with a slice of chocolate cake 🖤 Great food, friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere, pretty decor.

Food very nice. I hate it when the 10% discretionary service charge is put on the bill when only three of us. You feel bad when ask to take it off to top slightly less. It puts you off going back

We had a fantastic meal as part of our anniversary celebrations. Very fresh and tasty food aabd a varied and interesting menu. The staff were very good and attentive. After our meal, they surprised us with a piece of cake which had happy anniversary written on it! I can't wait to go again when we are in Newcastle in July.

I came on Saturday for food with a friend and we were both very happy with our experience. Staff knew my name when I walked in and said we had a reservation, which shows they are organised and welcoming. I had the chicken bok gum bap with chicken katsu bao buns on the side while my friend had the teriyaki beef and chilli beef skewers. The food was really high quality and nicely presented - we also loved that our food all arrived at the same time so neither of us had to wait, and I noticed that it was the same for most other tables too. It should also be noted that it was a match day at home and with St James' Park just down the road, it did get busy, but this did not impact on the service at all. We will definitely be back!

Food was excellent and plenty of it. Service was ok though staff disappeared from time to time. Worth a visit if you like Korean and Asian food.

Superb food, love the combination of a choice between Japanese and Korean dish's. Superb service and ambiance. So glad i discovered this gem of a place.
