Great evening and food was amazing as always. The colleagues there are so friendly and we love visiting here.

Have been to Softleys on a number of occasions before and found this visit poor in comparison. It has been a number of years since my last visit and I don't know if it has changed hands but definitely a very different feel. We won't be returning. Cream tea was only just average and no atmosphere.

My sister and I booked for mums birthday, after attending a yoga event at Wollaton Park we arrived 30 minutes late due to traffic, we called ahead a couple of times snd the owners were very accommodating and welcoming. The service and food were excellent, we had an afternoon tea and although it looked too much we managed to leisurely get through the delicious sandwiches and cakes. There is some on street parking close by but on busy days I would recommend parking and walking in, it takes about 10 minutes to walk into the centre.

We had a fantastic Saturday lunch time meal. As always the food was exceptional - beautifully cooked and presented. The service, ambience and setting are equally as high standard. We always have a superb meal and experience at Softleys.

First time traveling from Nottingham we had a lovely 3 courses with great staff

We went to celebrate our anniversary and had Sunday lunch. The service was excellent and the meal delicious. Our only comment and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the parsnips were enormous. I love parsnips but couldn’t eat these as they were slightly hard and lacked that lovely roasted flavour.

The staff are friendly and efficient, the food always reaches the highest standards. We travel over 80 miles just to eat here

It’s a lovely family run restaurant. The staff are great and service is really friendly and attentive. The food is gorgeous, home made and really good value. One of our party had several allergies and they really took care to ensure their meal was safe for them. Fab place, highly recommend!
