Söderberg is a Swedish café business with a bakery and 7 branches in Edinburgh. Soho café opened on Berwick Street in January 2019. We serve brunch, sourdough pizzas and authentically Swedish food and baked goods made to classic recipes with high quality ingredients.

We’re open all day into the evenings for brunch, lunch, coffee & cardamom buns, cakes, waffles, Swedish style open sandwiches, sourdough pizzas and more.

Our evening menu of pizza's and nibbles is perfect to share with a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail.
We are currently offering 2 for 1 on pizzas in the evenings from 6pm (Tuesday to Saturday) until the end of October.

    Took my friend here to show off Swedishness. We had a booking, but instead of showing us to our table, the staff member walked away and left us waiting for 10 minutes. No other staff welcomed or acknowledged us. I then walked downstairs and found our table myself... bad start. We ordered food and coffee, and making my Americano took a while - I had to come back up and ask about it, and whilst I could see it on the counter, the staff member rolled her eyes and said it will be brought down. That took another 5 minutes, so as my friend went up to check again, my coffee arrived lukewarm. No apologies or acknowledgements. The food was okay, but the service was absolutely dreadful. I wanted to take my boyfriend here for a date, but I'm glad I checked it out first. We were so confused as to how this person got a job in hospitality?

    First visit and will definitely return. A little gem! Delicious food and comfortable surroundings.

    More of a coffee spot rather than a restaurant. Fine as long as you are prepared for this and overall lovely for a cafe.

    Amazing,. We waited for our pizzas but the lovely waiter offered free starters for long delay of our pizza. Latte was so nice. Pizza is nice but bit expensive but it was late cafe, it is rare to see late night cafe to provide food, alcohol and latte.. love the seating etc. I works in hospitality and the waiter was beyond amazing service.

    Simple formula with very limited meals and drinks offering, friendly service and rather basic ambiance. Good to pop in for a quick meal but not for something more formal.

    Fantastic little hideaway in the heart of Soho, pizza was amazing, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed Scandinavian and welcoming! My only criticism was that my friend arrived ahead of me and was show to a table in another part of the restaurant, and the team didn't notify me that she was already there and seated me elsewhere in the restaurant.
