Söderberg is a Swedish café business with a bakery and 7 branches in Edinburgh. Our first London café opened on Berwick Street in January 2019. We serve authentically Swedish food made to classic recipes with high quality ingredients. We’re open all day into the evening for brunch, lunch, coffee & cardamom buns, cakes, waffles, Swedish style open sandwiches and more. Our evening menu includes pizzas, platters, smörrebröd, savoury waffles and a Scandi twist on classic cocktails such as our signature Fika Martini (an Espresso Martini made with Lake Vättern vodka and homemade Obadiah coffee liqueur), our Lingonberry Cosmo, Negröni & Söderberg Bellini.

    Excellent brunch with a variety of options to satisfy savoury or sweet cravings. Space was good as there were five of us and waiting staff really helpful. This will be a regular for me!

    Small food portions, quite pricey, they had also run out of quite a few key dishes from the menu. Overall quite an average experience.

    The booking was confirmed for 8pm on a Saturday for dinner . We sat down just after 8pm and ordered drinks. And then when we asked for food menu we were told the kitchen was closed at 8pm. And the overhead cold lighting makes the place still very much a bakery vs dinner with live music as in their adverts. Pretty disappointed.

    Had a very enjoyable evening at Sonderberg's. Great pizzas and those buns! Pleasant jazz background music from an excellent guitar and bass duo. Friendly service.

    The food I had was very good, however I would prefer a wider choice on the Brunch menu.

    A most enjoyable evening. Great to have live music - very nice jazz! Excellent winter salad (aubergine, chickpea etc) and pizza. Very good service.

    Friendly and personal service from staff and good pizzas. The live jazz was lovely and non intrusive. Nice surprise happy birthday mention from the singer for my son, and another surprise on the bill, with a 2-4-1 on the pizzas.
