Society is an energetic and fun restaurant and bar located in Tempe on the corner of University and Rural next-door to the Tempe Improv. Society offers inventive Italian and Mediterranean cuisine created by Chef Armando Aguirre. We offer our full dinner menu daily from 4pm to 1:30am with Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Wednesday night from 10PM-12AM. Society is a stunning oasis in the desert with a large 28 seat illuminated rose quartzite bar top with an extensive wine list and creative house cocktails. We have plush booths, couches and a separate dining room area. When visiting Society we want you to escape with us and enjoy our hospitality!

Had a wonderful time ! Service was excellent, wife had the vodka pasta and I had the chefs vodka pasta , which was very unique, both dishes excellent and tasty . Finished with the bananas foster , it’s another unique dish , not like the traditional and was very surprised how great it was

The interior is very eclectic and fun. Service was great, very attentive without being too intrusive. Food was decent but underwhelming. They have a good wine list. Overall a good experience.

I am so glad that I found this restaurant. Our experience there was 10 out of 10. Service was excellent. My husband ordered the crispy Brussels sprout salad. He said the Brussel sprouts were very tasty but what made the dish was the crispy kale. He thought it was one of, if not the best salad he has ever had. I had a 1/2 Caesar salad with avocado. First - it was a large portion and very good. I personally didn’t think the avocado did anything for the salad but I did appreciate the croutons as they actually had some good flavor which a lot of restaurants don’t bother with. My husband had the penne pasta and he left his plate absolutely clean! I had the chef vodka pasta. The homemade pappardelle pasta was outstanding and I loved the tender pieces of steak in it. It had a nice kick from the jalapeño but not too spicy. Perfect level of spice I thought. I do have two constructive comments- the dish needed an accompanying spoon as I did not want to be cutting the pasta with a knife. Second it was too dark. I appreciate ambience but I do like to actually see my food and to be honest it was difficult to see if there were actual jalapeños in the dish or just chunks of steak. We are just visiting here but if we ever return, this place will be at the top of my list to visit.

Fantastic experience at this special Corrido tequila dinner, pairing tequila cocktails with delicious food! Great atmosphere and top notch service!

Service was good but table behind me was loud making convo difficult. Went at 445 so place was pretty empty. But the 3 tables that were there were right next to each other. Could have been better spread out.

We had a fabulous time celebrating my friends birthday. The printed menu we got for her made it even more special. The food was amazing. I loved the mushroom pasta and meatball appetizer was off the chart. Tessa was so sweet and did an incredible job to make our night fantastic. We will be back.

We love society. The flowers and ambiance are always great. There was a big party and the servers did seem busier than normal. Our drinks came awhile aftwr we had already gotten our appetizers. The only thing really off was the food. Our burgers and even Ceasar salad all had too much salt and the salad was drenched in dressing. It was weird because normally we have loved the food. I'm hoping it was just an off night.
