Our dining experience was quiet, due to the private dining room, and elegant: a beautiful black and red Christmas tree adorned the room. With a black chandelier to match! Salmon, shrimp, pizza, pasta, and a burger was ordered. All of our entries were delicious but the burger was a grand slam! It definitely stood out!

The overall experience was fantastic. We had reservations were promptly seated. The service staff were attentive efficient and knowledgeable. The menu has a very nice selection across all courses. The courses were timed perfectly and we never felt rushed. The food was delicious and very well prepared and plated. The drinks were crafted with perfection and also delicious. The bathrooms are very clean, well appointed and private. The only recommendation I have is the lighting. It is very bright in the dining area. I prefer a more subtle lighting scheme when dining in a place such as this. It does lend itself to being a romantic or intimate experience with the lights on full blast. Other than that, I do still highly recommend Social at Stone for the food, service and the character of the location. The building itself is very cool and the layout of the bar, dining rooms, and upstairs lounge are unique. It's a very cool place with great food, drinks, and service. They just need dimmer switches.

Could be my new favorite dining spot. This old historic home has multiple dining spaces and two bars. All four dinner choices were fabulous as were the cocktails. Eclectic menu as there's something for everyone. So glad to stumble across this on Open Table.

I am not certain what was going on with the service, SLOW from start to finish as if everyone from wait staff to bar to kitchen was in slow motion. We were a table of four, and were seated just as the kitchen opened for serving. There was one other table for two occupied at the time. How does a round of drinks, 2 salads, and 4 entrees take 2 hours??? Ridiculous.

We were excited to eat at the restaurant for the first time on New Year’s Eve. We had heard a lot of good things about it. The ambience and our service was good. However, my fish was dry and chewy and my wife’s burger was also dry. For over $100 for two people, I don’t think we will go back.

Both of us had one of the specials they had for New Year’s Eve. I have the fillet with lobster and it was delicious. My husband had a fish that was stuffed with crab and it also was delicious. The portions are perfect not too much. Not too little. Our server Melissa was excellent. We were sitting in front of the fireplace and I just loved the nice warm room we were in. I think next time for a little bit more ambience. We are going to go up on the second or the third floor. I had 2 Martinis and they were delicious. You will not be disappointed going to this special restaurant.

This was our first time dining at Social at the Stone House and it was a fantastic experience. The history of the house and the beautiful surroundings, especially decorated for Christmas, made it a special place to celebrate my birthday. As a party of seven, we were seated in one of the private dining rooms on the second floor which was just perfect. Service was exceptional and friendly by our very knowledgeable server, Maddie. My husband and I started with the shrimp cocktail with jalapeno sauce that was delicious and had quite a kick to it. I opted for the house salad with the blue cheese dressing and my husband had the beet salad. The dressing was especially good. My strip steak was wonderfully seasoned and my husband's tuna tartare stack with avocado was inventive. Everyone enjoyed the drink menu, their meals, the service and the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and are looking forward to enjoying the patio once warmer weather gets here!

The Social Stone House is not just a restaurant, it’s a dining experience . The atmosphere ( especially ar Christmas) was festive and food and service were excellent.

Beautifully decorated. Old charm. Cocktails, food, and service were wonderful. Went at 4:30 with reservations. Quick service and no wait.
