Lovely country location, beautiful decor, friendly attentive staff. Good selection on menu. Dog and family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

This is a lovely pub with delicious food. The staff are charming but there are never enough of them. On a busy Saturday there were only 2 staff, working so hard but inevitably service was slow. Please get the drinks to the table straightaway. A wait for food is fine, it means it is freshly cooked, and you can tell that it is exactly that. We were unlucky with our fellow diners who had a screaming child; one other table got up and went to the other dining room, wish we had done the same. We are keen to support the Snowdrop, just employ a few more staff.

At 7 on a Friday evening , the start of a weekend, to find two of the main items on a very limited menu were not available is quite ridiculous . The wine is also highly overpriced. Will not be back.

There is only thing I would say was about the booking. That no body got back to me in booking another person. I had to phone again near the day to book a a third person

We went to the Snowdrop as enjoyed it under the old management. I work in London so used to excessive London prices with mediocre food. This surpassed London. £35 for an okay bottle of wine and £16-+ for three sausages on a little bit of unexceptional mash and a spoonful of vegetarian type chilli supposed to be a burger on a bun. The ‘burger’ had no form, loose and sloppy. Such a shame, won’t be going back.

This was our second time at The Snowdrop and our experiences were like chalk and cheese. Our server was best described as miserable and made for a very poor dining experience.

Thank you for your review 'Anonymous'. We are all very sorry to read it and only wish you had said something at the time. At least the food got an average score. Last week was a very tough week at the Snowdrop but it should not have affected our valuable customers. We are a small independent business and sadly life happens; we all try our best but it seems that the personal feelings of one of the team have impacted your experience with us. Sorry for that. The service you received isn't indicative of our usual standards and your review should not put off customers wanting to visit us.

The Snowdrop is in a beautiful location, off the beaten track, but has a lot to offer … car parking, indoor and outdoor tables, comfortable and cosy bar area and an innovative and delicious menu to suit all tastes. We have eaten there three times recently and always enjoyed the food and ambience. Thank you Ruth! Anna
