Snacky Chan is a cool local Japanese restaurant in Annandale. The food is really good, particularly the duck pancakes, dumplings and eggplant dish. On Wednesday's the cocktails are $15 which was a great treat as we were celebrating a birthday. The staff are really friendly and the place just has an overall great vibe to it. Highly recommend.

The team at Snacky Chans are always welcoming and the chef delivers some fabulous dishes, try the egg plant, it's amazing. Cocktails are good value and its the perfect spot for an early dinner with the kids. Happy 4th Birthday!

Generally we love Snacky’s - it’s our favourite but in Friday night the music level was unbearable! We mentioned and asked numerous times could they turn it down a notch! We were a table of 4 literally shouting at each other! I get that they like the vibe but hey it was 6:15 - it’s not exactly hip time it was full of families!! Very disappointing :( I often recommend Snacky’s but you have to weigh this up - it’s not exactly cheap - the food and staff are amazing but if you can’t enjoy that because you can talk or hear the person next to you it’s just a waste of money! :(

So happy to have found this gem! Spent my fortieth b’day here last night with a small group. Eight of us were able to enjoy the banquet that was recommended! Food was amazing, Lily our waitress were other staff were super fun, professional and efficient! Going to try the sushi train next time 🙂 Rich P

The food in this restaurant is so tasty I'd highly recommend a visit. There's plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. The service was great and all the staff were very friendly.

After going to SC when it first opened, and it was really good then, we were looking forward to revisiting after such a long time. Unfortunately, age seems to have taken its toll. The service, whilst friendly, was pretty slow, even with only half the restaurant being occupied. The food was just okay, certainly nothing really excited us, one dish had to be returned (although the server very kindly removed this from the bill even though it was replaced). Perhaps because we are a little older, we found the noise level way over the top. I asked the barman if the music could be turned down and he said he would ask the manager. Nothing seemed to change though and he never came back to us. For the price that we were charged, I would find it hard to return for another visit.
