Initialement fondé en 1967, Smuggler's Inn s'affaire depuis à faire honneur à la célèbre côte de bœuf d'Alberta. Établissement populaire auprès des habitants de Calgary, il est le choix idéal pour les anniversaires, les occasions spéciales ou pour un simple rassemblement entre amis ou en famille. La côte de bœuf est le plat-vedette du menu varié, disponible toute la journée, tous les jours, apprêté comme vous voulez. Du sandwich aux côtes de 9 onces à la pièce de 48 onces, les nombreuses et succulentes déclinaisons de côte de bœuf sauront vous plaire! Ordered medium rare prime rib, however the first plate to come out was a medium well rib eye after sending back I got an extremely rare cut of prime rib and at this point didn’t have the patience to return it, due to the fact that my wife had finished her dish and I had finished everything else on my plate.

I have been to Smugglers on many occasions and the restaurant I would classify it in the top tier of restaurants in Calgary-always very enjoyable !

We enjoyed a wonderful meal with friends there. Our waiter was charming and attentive I highly recommend Smugglers and we will definitely be back.

Food taste was good service was ok food was warm not hot … also over an hour to receive our meals

Outstanding food and service. The steak sandwich is the best I've ever had. The chicken pot pie was incredible.

There were 3 of us. We tried the Seafood boil, beef tartare and the strip-loin. All were excellent.

Here’s a draft review based on your experience: Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ We recently dined at Smugglers and had an incredibly disappointing experience. To start, my partner’s meal was undercooked—twice. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, we were shocked at the lack of accountability. Rather than offering a solution, the manager simply asked if we’d like to speak to the chef. As the manager, they should’ve been able to resolve the issue themselves. The appetizer order was not delivered as ordered and drinks were not refilled and had to be requested numerous times. Overall, the service fell short in both quality and professionalism. We expected much better from a restaurant of this reputation and won’t be returning anytime soon.

Service itself was friendly and comfortable but was very slow overall. Bread was icy cold in the middle (we were offered a second loaf), the cut of prime rib I got was very tough and chewy but my partners cut was fine. Our server, Marvin, was excellent but I think he was stretched too thin with too many tables. From how slow the service was, and the food being subpar for an establishment that advertises in specializing in prime rib

This place has gone down hill and the food was absolutely disgusting, with no seasoning on the steaks, we ordered a strip loin that looked more like a inside round steak and did not even have the typical fat cap that a New York strip loin steak comes with and for $48 it was it not edible. The 9oz tenderloin was over chard to the point of it being burnt but raw on the inside. I will never eat here again, and I would advise others not to waste their time or money eating there either.
