Initialement fondé en 1967, Smuggler's Inn s'affaire depuis à faire honneur à la célèbre côte de bœuf d'Alberta. Établissement populaire auprès des habitants de Calgary, il est le choix idéal pour les anniversaires, les occasions spéciales ou pour un simple rassemblement entre amis ou en famille. La côte de bœuf est le plat-vedette du menu varié, disponible toute la journée, tous les jours, apprêté comme vous voulez. Du sandwich aux côtes de 9 onces à la pièce de 48 onces, les nombreuses et succulentes déclinaisons de côte de bœuf sauront vous plaire!               Have not been in Smugglers for a number of years. Expected good things and was not disappointed. Service was excellent, food very good. Worth the slightly high prices will be going back soon.

              Our meal was delicious but the dessert buffet was disappointing...the desserts were not that good.

All the desserts are produced in house in our Pastry Shop and the culinary team only uses the best and freshest ingredients. Please come back to visit us on for Thanksgiving, the dessert buffet will feature : Chocolate Cake, Root Beer Cake, Lemon Tartlets, Vanilla Pot de Crème, Passion Fruit Tartlet, Chocolate Chip Cookies, New York Cheesecake, Palmier, Coffee Cannoli, Carrot Cake, Banana Bread, Tonka Bean Flan Cake, Chocolate Mousse, Spiced Pear Tapioca Pudding, Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, Seasonal Fruit and a Chocolate Fountain.               Wait staff and manager were all attentive to my food sensitivities (including the ingredients in the drinks). Were sat promptly (with reservation). Cool renewed vibe with 70s steakhouse throwback. Would go back to try the desserts (too full to eat the last course because of the large starter salad and a steak bigger than I usually eat at home).

              I had the smoked brisket sandwich. Very salty, smoky and greasy. Would not order again.

              English Cut prime rib was Paper Thin for $38 - completely filled with Fat. Maybe the other cuts would be better, but for $38 it was literally 3 bites of meat. Not recommend. Sorry but that’s a Rip off.

              We’ve been wanting to return to Smugglers since lonk downs. We finally decided to try them again for our anniversary and invited another couple to join us. On our reservations we noted the special occasion, however, that notation was ignored. The whole evening we felt the server was trying to upsell everything, without disclosing that it was an additional charge. My husband and I both ordered our prime rib asking it just be pink on the inside. Both came well done. We were extremely disappointed with the “new” Smugglers and we are nit planning on returning.

              Decades ago we went to Smugglers. Haven’t been able to go until now. It reminded us of the old Smugglers (minus salad bar). We really enjoyed the food & experience. Glad they’re back up and running. Highly recommend.

              The service wasn’t the greatest. We had to ask for forks, spoons and everything else. The food was okay. I’m not sure I would go again. Maybe.

              Disappointed with service as person didn’t know items on menu when ask about them. Service person not around much after food was brought and we had missing stuff on dishes so had to wait half way through meal to get servers attention to come to us. The fries were way over cooked and hard almost like they were cooked twice. Value and amount of food on some dishes was less than expected for the high cost. Don’t believe we will return as much better places for this dinner for $190.00
