We think these steaks are so distinctive and delicious that we were inspired to create a new kind of steakhouse. A steak, after all, is the culinary expression of our most primal instincts. yet the experience of going out for a great steak has become steeped in extravagance and excess.

We offer something different.

Smoque Steak eschews these conventional steakhouse values of excess and opulence, and instead focuses on excellence, hospitality, accessibility, value, and convenience. Our core premises—that a steakhouse need not be grandiose to be special, pretentious to be unique, or exorbitant to be great—have informed every decision and detail, from the steak itself to the casual atmosphere and carefully orchestrated hospitality.

We loved Steak! Outstanding service! Amazing food! We had the fondue and crab cake appetizers- both were so so good. Caesar salad - great to share. Filet and hanger steak - couldnt be more tender or tasty! Sides of cauliflower steak, carrots and frites - yummm! Dessert - OMG! The butterscotch thing and chocolate cake - even being so full, we ate every bite, they were that good! We will be back!!

This is some of the best steak I have ever eaten. Don't miss the crab cake or the deserts either. Service was lackluster and slow. At one point the manager decided to step in and try running food to speed things up, but because of that he ended up taking our appetizers to the wrong table which just made everything even slower. It was hard to catch our servers attention to be able to order more drinks or deserts etc. The support staff were great and kept on top of things though making sure we always had water etc. Wine list was ok, but limited selection for bottles and very few options at any reasonable price range. The cocktails were great and they even had a few delicious non alcoholic options though they were a little hard to find since they were just marked specially on each cocktail there wasn't a grouping for them especially. For the cost, the service should be much better, but the food is worth going anyways.

Food was great, the server was excellent, noise level was low; we were able to have a conversation. The only complaint is that the tables are so close together along the wall that when the server and manager spoke with the folks at the table next to us, their behinds were uncomfortably close to our faces for extended periods of time. Recommendation, don't sit along the walls. Also, the person sitting facing the wall has nothing to look at except the wall. They could use help arranging their tables better.

Great (smoked and sous vide’d) steaks with amazing side options. Loved our server.

The wait staff other than at the bar was lackluster. The waiter did not know the temperature of the steaks, thought a martini had tonic water in it, or drinks were mixed up, and an initial glass of wine took 30 minutes. The wait staff was uneventful and was not very inviting.

Our filets were delicious as were the brussels sprouts and potatoes gratin. The lobster grits was underwhelming. It was served room temperature and the grits were lacking the distinct ”grit flavor” I love when we travel down south. The dish probably would have been enjoyed more if it were hot. We weren’t asked how it was when the dishes were cleared away otherwise we would have said something. My wine glass went empty with the appetizer and I wasn’t given a chance for a refill without fllagging down our waiter. Overall, a good meal but for the price we wanted to be blown away.

Food is very very good. Service is EXCELLENT. Kat and Alec were our servers. They are extremely nice and very good at their job. Highly recommend both of them.

This was my second time at Smoque Steak, and just like the first time, I was really impressed by the ambience, the food, and our servers. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They were able to answer all of our questions and made sure that it was a positive, memorable experience for all of us. I will definitely be back again.
