Whereas traditional Tex-Mex uses a Santa Maria Grill, Tex-Que derives from our offset Smoker to cook all of our proteins and incorporate them into our inclusive menu. Smoky Rose offers all of the Texas staples from our top rated Brisket Queso, to our delicious smoked Brisket Tacos. We have it all - made fresh in our scratch kitchen. Bring your furry friends to our dog park and enjoy the beautiful weather at our patio with live music every weekend. Located right across from the Dallas Arboretum.

I’ve been here before but this time We came in for a big party. There was confusion regarding the seating but I spoke with Dustin who I assumed to be the manager he was very kind and very accommodating. The service was great even with there being a total of 16 of us the ticket was accurate and there was no long wait for food and drinks, very satisfied !

Service was very slow. Took forever to get anything. Lots of empty and dirty tables around us. Bathrooms were overflowing with trash.

Originally we were seated right next to Garland Rd. very noisy sirens honking (NYC vibes) we were then moved had a wonderful experience all around. Can’t say the same for valet they really need to address the situation 6+ valets working and could not get our car keys (they were all sitting and eating during a very busy time) rude rude bad attitude!!!!

Overall, our experience was great, we have been here before. The staff at the bar yesterday evening were not very friendly or helpful. My wife was asked to leave her cc at the bar to open a tab. When we went to close out our tab, she asked for her card back. She was told that they would not have asked for her card. She asked if they could just take a look around or ask the other staff member that assisted her if she did in fact take her card. They looked annoyed and refused to help. I walked up to the check in station waiting to speak to a manager and at that time, someone came out of the bar and handed my wife her card. Even then, she did not apologize to my wife for the misunderstanding. Establishments like this can be a great place, this one truly is, but staff can ruin the experience and run off patrons.

What a great place! Atmosphere was great along with good drinks and food. Can't wait to go back and enjoy some live music and good food with the family.
