Smoking Lobster Ventnor is an award winning 2-Rosette restaurant located in the heart of Ventnor Bay, serving Asian-Fusion cuisine.

Our restaurant overlooks the ocean, so every meal is paired with breath-taking sea views.

We are famous on the Island for using fresh and local produce. Our local fisherman, Justin, catches our lobsters & line caught sea bass fresh for our use, so our dishes include the freshest possible ingredients from your local shores.

The bar menu reflects the elegant dishes from the kitchen, with precise, bespoke cocktails all prepared using freshly pressed juices.

Family owned by the Giancovich's, with recipes influenced by their extensive travels around Asia, and by their childhood of growing up hunting, gathering, and spear-fishing for seafood.

This is probably my 4th or 5th visit to The Smokin Lobster. Although previously it has always been the Cowes branch that i have visited. As it was my Husband’s birthday, and he had never been before. I wanted to treat him to something’s special. And thought that the Ventnor branch would just be that little bit more special, due to its location and views of the sea. It didnt dissapoint. Smaller than the main branch in Cowes, but with a typical low key, chilled seaside vibe. The food was and always is exceptional. I think being that the main branch has has more selection of starters. This would be my preference. But main courses, desserts, wine and cocktails are all spot on, fresh tasting ingredients and delicious. Its my favourite restaurant to visit. Even compared to other places on the mainland where we live. The staff in Ventnor were really accommodating. And even sang Happy Birthday to my husband, much to his embarrassment. 😂 We will def be back as soon as we can.

Utterly fabulous seafood platter signature dish whilst sitting outside in the September sunshine with a glass of Gavi - perfect lazy lunch!

A great dining experience. We were made very welcome and one of our party has an intolerance which was taken seriously and managed correctly. The food was excellent and we will be returning as soon as we are able.

Excellent meal full of lovely fresh food and such wonderful flavours. We liked it so much we came back for lunch the next day as well!!! Cannot really add anything more useful than that.

We had the seafood platter, it was really lovely and fresh, staff are super friendly and we even managed to get some free seasoning as my other half loves the fries so much! Highly recommended if you are a seafood lover, I had a truly amazing birthday meal! Thank you.

Excellent food, can’t fault it. Lobster delicious and the tempura prawns and sea bass to die for. Waiting staff very polite. Definitely will be back
