Smoking Lobster Ventnor is an award winning 2-Rosette restaurant located in the heart of Ventnor Bay, serving Asian-Fusion cuisine.

Our restaurant overlooks the ocean, so every meal is paired with breath-taking sea views.

We are famous on the Island for using fresh and local produce. Our local fisherman, Justin, catches our lobsters & line caught sea bass fresh for our use, so our dishes include the freshest possible ingredients from your local shores.

The bar menu reflects the elegant dishes from the kitchen, with precise, bespoke cocktails all prepared using freshly pressed juices.

Family owned by the Giancovich's, with recipes influenced by their extensive travels around Asia, and by their childhood of growing up hunting, gathering, and spear-fishing for seafood.

Amazing but very expensive food served in a simple cafe environment on the seafront. This is top central London prices with excellent quality food. Reconciling the prices with the seaside cafe environment and experience was challenging!

Our second visit. So impressed first time we had to go again to check our memory was not deceiving us. Food and service simply astounding. We shall not forget it. Quite a small restaurant so quite noisy when crowded as it was last night.

Excellent meal all round but sharing the sea food platter meant that the lobster was cold by the time we got to it!

Simply amazing food. Highly recommend. The seafood platter was gorgeous and the lobster was delicious. The best seafood meal I’ve had in a long time. Service was equally good and staff were friendly.

Incredible seafood platter for 2. Beautiful selection of lobster, tuna, sea bass, tempura prawns, sushi and scallops served with fries and Asian slaw. Absolutely fantastic. All cooked and served with smiles from the chefs and staff whilst watching the waves break on Ventnor beach. Cannot improve on perfection.

You really need to eat here! The kitchen can find flavours in food that you wouldn't believe existed, and they execute their dishes so perfectly. I'm a pretty creative cook but wouldn't have a clue how to replicate their flavours. Wow!
