Smoking Lobster Ventnor is an award winning 2-Rosette restaurant located in the heart of Ventnor Bay, serving Asian-Fusion cuisine.

Our restaurant overlooks the ocean, so every meal is paired with breath-taking sea views.

We are famous on the Island for using fresh and local produce. Our local fisherman, Justin, catches our lobsters & line caught sea bass fresh for our use, so our dishes include the freshest possible ingredients from your local shores.

The bar menu reflects the elegant dishes from the kitchen, with precise, bespoke cocktails all prepared using freshly pressed juices.

Family owned by the Giancovich's, with recipes influenced by their extensive travels around Asia, and by their childhood of growing up hunting, gathering, and spear-fishing for seafood.

Lovely meal. Food was so tasty and interesting. We coincidentally bumped into some friends there, and the staff ensured we were sat together - which we were by chance, anyway! Really appreciated it.

Great place - friendly service and efficient ,great tasting food and attention to dietary requirements ( dairy free and grape wine free) . Relaxed atmosphere and just great overall 😄

The food is just as good as when the restaurant first opened which is why it's our favourite place to eat

Although the quality of food was good, we were disappointed that the main course was a little ordinary for the price charged. The starters were tasty but small at £15 each. Three scallops rather than two would have been more generous. Can't fault the service though which was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable.

Amazing lunch! Couldn’t decide which starter to have so chose 3 between the two of us. All great but the lobster brioche was exceptional. We both had a whole lobster tempura for mains which again was perfect. No room for dessert but coffee was very good. Not the cheapest place to eat but we enjoyed our visit from start to finish. Definitely a place for something special.

Would 100% recommend this restaurant! Very understated from the outside but lovely seaside-style decor inside and the food is just sensational (beef fillet tartare to start, seafood platter for main and cappuccino brulee for dessert). One of the best meals out we had in a while. We were lucky enough to have a window seat with a view out over the sea too. The staff are a real credit to this restaurant and were all really friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the food. Thanks!
