Smokehouse Barbecue has been servicing Kansas City since 1987. It opened its doors in Zona Rosa, Kansas City, Missouri, with one objective in mind: to provide Kansas City customers with the best barbecue and service possible. We had a "cousin's lunch" and this was a perfect place. The food and service were great.

One of the best and underrated BBQ restaurants in Kansas City. Excellent sandwich, fries, and beans! I will definitely be back.

Turkey and Brisket had good flavor but were dry. We had seven in our group. We were in a side room and we froze! They could not warm it up.

The beef short rib was excessively burnt. The edible part was really small. Burnt ends were great. Briskets were just average

Being in Kansas City I was expecting really good BBQ. Our waitress was excellent and it’s a pretty cool place. The meat however had no flavor and was really dry. We got the burnt ends for an appetizer. They weren’t crispy or juicy. Very dry and bland.
