They were out of two drinks and one entree that our part of 5 ordered. But it was very sparsely crowded for a Saturday night. The service was fine. The prices are too high for Abilene, compared to other nice Abilene options. They should advertise to the local community about their local residency discount. That would likely bring in more local traffic. This is a nice addition to downtown Abilene.

The food was adequate, nothing special. The prices were high for what you get. The noise level for the 13 people in there at the time we visited was very high. There was one toddler at the table next to us and when he let out a shriek it was ear splitting. The place is in dire need of sound absorbing material on the ceiling and walls. We might as well have been at McDonald's if we wanted a quiet meal for our anniversary. The server, on the other hand, was excellent. Hailie is a junior at McMurray College majoring in physics. A very bright and hard working young lady.

Ordered the smoked corn beef hash. It was mostly undercooked, under-seasoned potatoes. Quite a bit of fat on the meat, some of the meat chunks were pure fat. What actual meat I did get was good. Husbands meal was very salty. Daughter’s pancake was undercooked (they did take it off the check, thank you) other daughters Cuban sandwich the mustard was all on one side. Took awhile to get refills. Wasn’t crowded at all.

I ordered the daily special which was pulled pork sandwich. The pork was so dry it was like trying to chew straw. The meals are not as tasty as I've experienced elsewhere. Wish the menu would freshen up and serve what most people would like to have at lunch time. The lack of customers should be evidence enough that something is not quite working well. But I do love the beautiful atmosphere and the service. I would love to see the restaurant FULL to capacity at lunch time.

The food was good but the place was designed poorly and a few loud people spoiled the mood because it echoed terribly. I had the pork chop and my wife had a steak. The food was cooked properly and tasted good. Side salads and desserts are good but way overpriced. Service was okay, we sat with empty glasses at the beginning but the waitress was more attentive toward the end. We will probably not go back because there are better places in town for the price.

That was a crazy amount of money for a very lackluster buffet. $65 a person. Food was dry, charcuterie crackers soggy, the desserts not very flavorful.

Second time we've been there, and it'll be our last for awhile, which is a shame because we want this place to be good. Regarding food - we can tell they have quality ingredients/recipes, but they struggle to cook it correctly. We had a wide range of steak, chicken, and fish entrees at our table and all were overcooked. The pork belly appetizer had pieces that were rock hard and inedible. Service is slow and the staff seem very overwhelmed. Both times we've been, they don't have enough menus for the table and both times we had to wait to get a drink menu at all. Both times we had to wait a very long time to get all the drinks to the table (over 30 mins). Both times it was over 50 minutes from arrival till we got our food.

Great service. Overall food was good. I didn’t car for my short rib to be charred on outside. But was still good. Everything else was excellent.
