We love the simplicity of seasonal and local ingredients. Modern dining and ancient techniques such as smoking, curing and preserving are at the heart of our restaurant. These aspects motivate us as well as bringing in other global flavours, ingredients, and cuisines. In this way, we try to reflect the diversity and multiculturality of South London and the UK through our food.

Guests will be offered our five OR seven course sharing menus only with options available for dietary requirements only.

If no tables are available do give us a call on 07421327556, we may have something extra available!

Smoke & Salt is run by co-chefs Aaron Webster (Dinner by Heston and The Latymer at Pennyhill Park) & Remi Williams (Craigie on Main and Deuxave) who initially met at The Shed, Notting Hill. Originally a monthly supper-club started in 2014, the pair want to create a relaxed and affordable dining space which is accessible to all.

Again, another exceptional meal and experience at smoke and salt. This is our 6th time to dine here and each menu has been faultless. Since our last visit, you no longer share from one plate but have a plate each which is better. We went for the 5 course tasting menu and were nicely full leaving. There is also a 7 course menu which we will do next time! Excellent value for money as the menu is carefully planned with delightful food!

Hearty portions from a super team who love what they’re doing. Vegetable sides were underwhelming.

Great food but they need to rethink their weekend lunch offering. We were the only table in there and only having the evening set menus is not going to work.

Fantastic restaurant. The tasting menus served as sharing plates are always so inventive and the wine pairings so well curated that you should definitely choose this option. The staff are also very friendly and informative. One of the owners is always there and you can usually see one of them in the open kitchen. I’m delighted this is local to me, so I try to go regularly and it’s lovely to be welcomed back each time, and Remi, one of the owners will always pop by to say hello if he is there. This place is worth travelling for!

Amazing food. Brilliant, friendly service. Incredibly reasonable prices for a varied and delicious tasting/sharing menu. Unpretentious, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend!
