Welcome to Smoke & Mirrors! We are a casual elegant social experience serving tapas style dishes envisioned to be shared. Our cocktail program features original craft recipes and modern twists on classics. Join us for a beautiful sunset view of our Nation's Capitol. We strongly encourage reservations as our walk-in space is limited as we operate on a two-hour table limit for reservations

There were four of us and our meals were not brought out together for some reason? Two of the four brunch plates were brought out over 30 minutes later than the other plates. One of us asked for multi-grain bread due to dietary restrictions and we were told by the waitress they had it. Much later the bread was delivered by another server and it was not multigrain. This other waiter proceeded to get an attitude insisting there was no multigrain, but we only ordered it only after we were told by the other waiter that they had it. The waiters on the floor were not only out of sync but the one was downright rude. Despite the beautiful rooftop views I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Noise from traffic was terrible. The rest was okay and the service was very caring and friendly.

Would come again, our server was pleasant and attentive to us. She was able to have the bartender make us a drink that was not on the menu. The food was very pricey for what it was. We had to leave for an emergency, it was a good location.

It was mostly a wonderful experience. The only unpleasant experience was their method of closing. They closed at 10pm on the day I was there. At 9:15 the server announced last call for the kitchen and bar. At 9:45 a loud security personnel comes to each table announcing that it closes in 15mins. At 10pm he aggressively yells his closing announcements in the middle of the rooftop of the restaurant. 5 minutes later, he’s essential herding people out and making more announcements for the time. All of this was done before the server even returned with our check. It would have been nice to be warned and provided with our check before the place closed. It’s a very abrupt and distasteful way of closing a restaurant. If this establishment was a nightclub closing at 2am, maybe the manner would have been acceptable; however, it was not.

We didn’t have any food we went there just for drinks. Despite arriving early, the hostess was very accommodating and seated us at a wonderful table. The bartender was extremely attentive and helpful, and we ordered two cocktails—both of which were outstanding. The High roller (Old Fashioned, with a twist) stood out as exceptional. To top it all off, the view was breathtaking. It was a fantastic experience overall, and absolutely worth the visit.

Roof top, beautiful outdoor space, great views of the city but not a brunch place I would go back to or recommend. Although their mambo wings were very good, that was about it. Our server wasn’t very attentive, often asking others to bring us things we need for our meals. My partner sent their food back, cold eggs, tough bacon. My food was not hot, toast cold, not a very good eating experience.
