Welcome to Smoke & Mirrors! We are a casual elegant social experience serving tapas style dishes envisioned to be shared. Our cocktail program features original craft recipes and modern twists on classics. Join us for a beautiful sunset view of our Nation's Capitol. We strongly encourage reservations as our walk-in space is limited as we operate on a two-hour table limit for reservations

I was trying to book a reservation for my birthday at this restaurant. It took calling for a week straight, sending an email, contacting the hotel under them, and just booking a reservation for a smaller party, before someone finally contacting me back. While they were great once you get in contact with them, it definitely is a hassle. I ended up showing up to my reservation at 7:10pm was seated at around 7:30pm due to there being no parking and the host wasn’t very helpful with providing information on if the restaurant valets and the fact that the downstairs security is saying that the restaurant didn’t valet. Once seated, our waitress was very kind. Came around to the table multiple times in the first hour making sure we were ready to order. Our first round of drinks too quite a while and everyone at the party actually did not finish them because they weren’t the best. We all even tried each others and it was very good. We then ordered our food, it took over an hour for half of the party to receive their food. By the time we did, the first half of people had already finished eating and we were all ready to go. Service became quite slow after 8:30pm. Which I understand happens on a Saturday night, however the reservation even says parties can’t hold tables for more than 2 hours and one of the dishes came out cold by the time it got to the table. We were at the restaurant for a total of 3 hours and it was mostly wait time and not the party just taking their time dining. While our waitress was very nice, everything else kind of ruined the experience. Overall Smoke and Mirror is a 2.5/5 stars but Desiree our waitress was very nice!!

I had an amazing experience our waiter was EXTREMELY nice and frequently checked back in to make sure all of our needs were met. This place is beautiful even in the daytime the view is nice. I will definitely be back for lunch and dinner.

Venue was beautiful, went on a Saturday afternoon, was fairly quiet with plenty of servers but took about 15 min before anyone came to us. For their fault they started us with champagne on the house.. took about 30 min for food and 15 min for drinks after ordering. Overall I think it’s overpriced $20 for espresso martinis that weren’t spectacular.. would visit for happy hour

Our server was not attentive and it took 30 minutes to get our check.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!! From being greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from the host named Paige to the Super Stellar Service from Justice. The food was to die for. The Mambo Wings, Brussels sprouts, and Trout was a 20/10. I highly recommend

It’s a nice place, view, food and attention very fine. I recommend to go at 6 pm so you will enjoy part of the sunset and night view of DC.

The ambiance was grown and sexy. The food was delicious. Our server Richard was awesome, he took good care of us.

Love the ambiance….the service slowed down once the place began to crowd…with the music would’ve been a bit more exciting but I still loved it and would go back again

I don’t think the breakfast had value when it came to the food maybe the bottomless brunch was good but food wise I can’t say that I’ll go to brunch again for that. I’m gonna try again for dinner and see if the food during that time is better than breakfast. But the atmosphere and the decor and the service is great.
