Welcome to Smoke & Mirrors! We are a casual elegant social experience serving tapas style dishes envisioned to be shared. Our cocktail program features original craft recipes and modern twists on classics. Join us for a beautiful sunset view of our Nation's Capitol. We strongly encourage reservations as our walk-in space is limited as we operate on a two-hour table limit for reservations

I absolutely loved this place. Being new to DC, I would absolutely recommend. It is a whole vibe! Our server Sumaya was awesome and she made sure to have a great balance between checking in and providing us space to just enjoy the ambiance. The view was great as well and you have to try the crab dip and the lemon drops, in loveeeeeeeeeee.

Was seated quickly by the host, but was confronted about 10min there by who appeared to be security who said we were in the wrong seat even though we told him we were seated by the host. He got who appeared to be a manager who reiterated that we were not supposed to be in this specific section and would have to move. She then asked if were seated by a hostess as if we just arbitrarily set ourselves. Finally the hostess who noticed ran over to inform the manager that we were seated appropriately by her. Management didnt offer any kind of courtesy for the public embarrassment not even a free appetizer just a sorry and that was the last we seen of her. It was my wives birthday and we had friends in town was the only reason we stayed. luckily the Waiter Mickey was outstanding, but management could care less and failed to do their do diligence of speaking with their staff before confronting gust in-front of everyone.We wont be going back….im sure there are other rooftop bars in the city who actually care about their guest. Plus there is no parking only valet which is $45. Dont waste your time unless you like over paying to be treated like they are doing you a favor allowing you in their establishment.

Nicole was an amazing waitress. She was kind and patient as we looked over the menu. Our group was indecisive but she never rushed us. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will most definitely be back.

The crab dip, trout and collars are fantastic. Also liked the truffle fries and tots. Good flavor ok the jerk shrimp tacos but need option for flour tortilla. Will visit again.

Very good, overpriced food. Really nice view with terrible service. Drinks and entrees brought one at a time over long intervals. I was there for 2 hours before I received my entree. We would have spent a lot more on drinks if they had bothered to stop by the table to take our order. The manager made it right financially, but the poor service ruined my evening.

I came early for a Tuesday happy hour (4:00-6:00pm) and they had a few good deals that kept me longer than I initially planned! The bartenders were kind, funny and cute! They gave a bunch of dinner recommendations since I was traveling for work. The French kiss was to die for and only $6?!?? After a few of those I tried the truffle fries which were delicious. Music was amazing, ambience was perfect and the view was cute. Definitely great for a weeknight happy hour if you don’t want to be packed like sardines.

Great service and cocktails. Even more wonderful is the view and ambience. I highly recommend for drinks and apps with friends.
